In 2013 I obtained my PhD in the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), with the dissertation “Plasmonic waveguides: classical applications and quantum phenomena” under the supervision of Profs Francisco José Garcia-Vidal and Esteban Moreno Soriano and covered by the FPU grant (2008-2012). After several interviews in different research institutions in 2013, I earned a Max Planck postdoctoral grant to collaborate with the research center, Quantum Science & Technology in ARcetri (QSTAR) in Florence, Italy, in close collaboration with Prof.  Mario Agio.
Next I moved in 2014 till 2020 as Head of Research group within the experimental group of Prof. Vahid Sandoghdar in the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light, Erlangen, Germany. In 2020 I moved to the IFIMAC at UAM to start my own research group funded by La Caixa Junior Leader program and since September 2022 I am a Ramón y Cajal Fellow.
